Principles of the Old Catholic Church, Corp. (OCCC):
The United States of America has been rightly described as a great melting pot.
The sprawling area of Southern California known as the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area, is a microcosm of cultural diversity. Recognizing the specific cultural needs of this diverse society, the OCCC's endevoring to make Catholic Liturgical and Sacramental ministry available to as many cultural groups as possible; incorporating native language and cultural traditions. We see this as a means of fulfilling the great commandment of Christ to go into the world preaching and teaching the good news of salvation.
In different times Catholic Churches have recognized that Catholicism properly defined is a religion of freedom and faith. The Old Catholic Church maintains that there are two essential marks of a Christian Church:
1. It must teach and practice the historic faith as given by Christ to the Apostles and equally
important :
2. the fellowship must be a free fellowship of Christians who believe, because they may.
Please note:
A- We welcome all people who belive in the sanctity of the NICEAN CREED.
B- We believe God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created
him; male and female He crated them.
C- We belive Marriage to be the sanctified state between a man and woman, the ideal
to be strived for by all.
